Adolescent Dog Classes!

Adolescent Dog Classes!

When

March 22, 2026
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Come join professional dog trainers, Haley Fawcett, CPDT-KA and Brooke Binion, CPDT-KA for a winter Adolescent Dog Training Course.
This group class is designed specifically for adolescent dogs 6 months to 2 years of age navigating the exciting — and sometimes challenging — teenage stage of development. During this phase, dogs often test boundaries and become easily distracted, which makes consistent training more important than ever.
During the course you and your dog will focus on strengthening essential foundation cues such as sit, stay, and leave it, while building reliability by gradually increasing duration, distance, and distraction. You’ll learn how to maintain your dog’s focus around other dogs and people, improve loose-leash walking, and encourage calm, polite behavior in stimulating environments.
The class also includes practical training for real-life situations, such as teaching your dog to comfortably accept handling for grooming and veterinary care, and implementing effective strategies to prevent jumping.
Together, we can help set you and your pup up for a lifetime of success together!
Beyond core manners, we incorporate engaging enrichment activities that help channel adolescent energy into positive outlets while strengthening the bond between you and your dog.
